Tuesday Q and A

I passed this very fun Birthday lawn announcement yesterday. I wish they made a strapless bra that had no clasps and really stayed on. DO they?

I mentioned my birthday , but it is mid month. I Love my day. This year I am going to try to publish a video blog using WordPress upgrade domain. That’s right, Mrs. Never has paid for a post in 16 years is handing over the dough. Do you think it will be worth it?

Do you look up things during the day on google or the like? I’m giving some of that up. When Fireman says, ‘hey I think theses are swallowtail butterflies”, I am learning to say, Really? Im not the information desk, although I appear to be. I’m giving that up in my 60th year. Someone else can look it up. Are you giving anything up in your new year?

AL knew I’d want to do something knit related for my birthday. She and Fireman had planned that we would go to RHINEBECK. The ULTIMATE for yarn folk . Then came COVID. We talked about taking a virtual class together but she’s too advanced for me.

So, I’ll happily shop yarn with her virtually. 🙂 Somehow. Ideas?

Finally , the birthday cake, or cupcake or what? I’m not sure. Strawberry shortcake with buttery biscuits and cool whip sounds amazing. Do you cool whip?

    A. I don’t think I ever tried a strapless bra so I’m no help.

    A. I pay for my Blogger use and I feel it’s worth it.

    A. I don’t give up anything, ever. 🙂

    A. Knitpicks.

    Do you cool whip?
    A. I prefer homemade whipped cream but we mostly use the canned stuff and call it “squirty cream” which I picked up from an English blogger.

  2. I’m not a snob, so I like Cool Whip. On Thanksgiving, I eat it with chocolate syrup and nuts because I don’t like pumpkin pie like everybody else.

Strawberry shortcake sounds so good! If it’s what you want, then have it. I had a huge carrot cake for my birthday in May. It took Rick and I a week to eat it, maybe even longer. Worth every single calorie.

I look up things on Google that interest me. If it’s a memory thing, like “Who played the lead in such and such a movie?”, I let my brain go on Sort. If I don’t think of it in a few days, then I consult The Google. Trying to remember is good for my brain.

  3. I Cool Whip like crazy. It’s been a non-negotiable during the pandemic. I made peach cobbler last night with canned peaches and Bisquick topped with it and it was so good. Too good. I had three helpings. Shame on me.

  4. I love Cool Whip . . . it does not love me back. I had to give it up. My favorite pie used to be two containers of flavored yogurt, one container of Cool Whip — beat it up, put it in a graham cracker crust, freeze it …………..YUM!

I have never tried a strapless bra. If anyone, anywhere ever comes up with a comfortable (good looking) bra that is affordable, I’ll be all over it.

I don’t know about no clasps, but I have a fantastic strapless bra. It’s my main bra, because it looks so good with all my old navy dresses (no bra straps!). It has boning in the sides, and solid cups, so it’s a little like a corset in support (from the bottom up), but without the constriction.

I think if you really want to do video stuff, it will be totally worth it.

I should give up something, but I’m not. And I am TOTALLY the information desk in the house. I’m always looking something up!

Shop on a Zoom call.. one of you can be in control and share your screen so you can both see the same screen. The other can say what they want, and the one in control can put it in the shopping cart and do the check out.

Im not into cool whip. Personally, I love just a plain white birthday cake with buttercream icing. But you do you – whatever strikes your fancy.

  6. I have never owned a strapless bra that actually stayed up. Although I don’t have much up there in that department anyway! 🙂

Since I’m 60 this year too I thought about giving something up but then COVID hit and I gave up and just tried to persevere. I think that’s important too. Just surviving this thing.

I have no idea how to virtually shop but I’m sure someone does. The internet is incredible that way and of course, I LOVE cool whip. On anything and everything, especially chocolate anything.

    Blessings,
    Betsy
