Happy Caturday Morning

In order I give you: Beatles, Miss Pie, Tankalicious, and Fezzik .  Miss Pie was overly attentive to me yesterday post tooth pulling.  She knows because she had the same thing in November.  She even squeezed her tiny body through the  gate to check on me this morning. HOW DO THEY KNOW?

All teeth considered it went quite well yesterday. The surgeon could not have been nicer.  Minimal pain during the extraction due to good numbing, okay and some nitrous.  Normal post op routine being followed.  I think I feel better than before it was pulled, honestly.  So I know have cadaver bone, (DONOR BONE, please mom we don’t say cadaver bone in the organ donation world) and I’m truly grateful for someone being a donor.  Even for a little tiny tooth bone.

In yarn land, I frogged the lace shawl.  I know I know.  But I Found A BETTER pattern that I could follow even yesterday as I recovered on the couch!

Thanks everyone for the support and the permission to purchase yarn.  Happy Caturday.  And the Olympics are a month away! Hooray.

  1. I’m glad it went well with the tooth. Now you should just snuggle down with cats and tea and knitting and soft foods and heal!

  2. Looks to me that you are on the mend and the kitties are great company. Glad to read that all’s going well with your tooth extraction and Miss Pie, esp…Enjoy your new knitting project! Mend on!

  3. Good news with the tooth. Love all of the cat photos. A good Saturday would be snuggling with kitties and knitting. I’m sitting at the gate at Sea-Tac waiting for our flight to Omaha. It was an early morning. Up at 3:30. Yuck! But Piper is waiting at the end of the day. 🙂

  4. Miss Pie looks very concerned for you. Glad you are feeling okay. Mouth stuff is just the WORST!!!!

I have to say, it’s good to see Tank! He doesn’t get NEAR enough time on the blog! (Don’t tell, but HE’S my favorite!)

  5. I’m so glad it’s OVER.. I hope you heal up fast. Dental stuff makes me a nervous wreck. I enjoyed the cat show! LOL! Take care of yourself this weekend. ((hugs)), Teresa 🙂

  6. So glad all went well with the tooth! It was just a month ago that I had one pulled. I am hoping to avoid the implant process. It sounds terrifying! Or am I a big baby? Well, yes, I am. Seeing that you are a nurse, I would love to hear how you made the decision.
It is wonderful to watch your daughter be happy with friends! I love it every winter when Rachel is reunited with her best friend. All that giggling makes me happy!

  7. so glad you are feeling better and you are in good company with your cats 🙂 This dog/cat assimilation will be the death of me (or the death of my nerves…). Wishing you a great new tooth. My son has an implant from when he was in ninth grade. It will be your STRONGEST tooth in your mouth unless you have other implants…

  8. I am so happy that the tooth extraction is behind you. Sometimes the anticipation is worse than the actual procedure. I frogged a pair of mitts that I wasn’t enjoying knitting. If the shawl wasn’t your cup of tea, then use the yarn for something else. I look at frogging and reknitting as getting my money’s worth from the yarn.
